October 9. Sunday
- Molokai Hoe Canoe Race: Greet the racers as they arrive
in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village, which is located on Kalia Road

- Beginning Papa Olelo Hawaii: From 6:30-7:30pm, Native
Books and Na Mea Hawaii will be offering free Hawaiian language classes.

- Baby Dinosaurs: A Prehistoric Playground: Tuesday is the
perfect day to the Bishop Museum at 1525 Bernice street. Here, there
will be a huge exhibit, interactive games, fossil displays, and much
more from 9am- 5pm. Admission is $14.95 for adults, $11.95 for those
4-12, and free for younger children. There are also special discounts

October 12. Wednesday
- The HalleyBerries: Zanuck Lindsey and Johnny Valentine
make up this versatile cover band. The Berries will be playing from

- WWII In Color: This documentary shows the soldiers’
perspectives of the horrors of WWII. It will be showing, on a loop, from
9am-5pm at the Battleship Missouri Memorial, which is located at Pier
F-5 in Pearl Harbor. General admission to the memorial is $16.

- Talk Story Festival: Kid Kind Tales will be the theme for

be from 7- 9:30pm. - Hispanic Heritage Festival: The 12th annual
event will be going on in Waikiki’s Kapiolani Park from 10am-6pm. The

- ATV Tours: There are several places all over the island
that you can ride an ATV in. The most beautiful are the mountains and
valleys around the North Shore. Usually, you have to be over 16-years
old to ride and the price averages about $50/hour, but off-roading on
an ATV vehicle is an activity that both residents and visitors have a
great time experiencing.
